Ginna Mora, also known as Synaesthesik, began her career in the Argentinian VJ scene in 2009, performing visuals for electronic music events in Buenos Aires while developing branding and visual identities for artists and record labels. Her multidisciplinary approach is rooted in design thinking and academic research. After completing her postgraduate studies in Communication Design at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), she wrote her thesis “Visual music: the function of the visual stimuli in the multisensor experience of the modern electronic music performances”, exploring how visual stimuli shape the perception of music in live environments.

 

With a strong background in branding, art direction, and concept development across print and digital media, Synaesthesik transforms sound into immersive experiences (Visual Music), where image and sound interact to amplify the emotional impact of live performances. She approaches each project by developing clear, strategic concepts that connect an artist’s identity to the live experience through Branding and Live Visuals Design.

Her work combines skills such as illustration, collage, motion graphics, video manipulation, and AI-content, resulting in distinctive visual worlds that evolve in sync with sound and performance through Live Visuals Design and show visuals.

Her practice connects branding and live performance, creating cohesive concepts that extend from an artist’s identity to the stage experience. This approach allows her to craft Visual Music experiences that are memorable, immersive, and tailored to each project.

Today, she works as a Creative Producer and Brand & Live Visuals Designer for artists, DJs, festivals, corporate events, and international productions, developing visual languages that move seamlessly from identity and digital media to stage and screen. For larger productions and complex projects, she collaborates with a network of international creatives through SYK Visuals, allowing her concepts to scale into ambitious live experiences.​
